KEY COMPONENTS OF THE BATTERY MONITORING SYSTEM
1) Wi-Fi DAQ: (Hardware)
- Measures the voltage and temperature of individual batteries. Can be programmed to measure secondary parameters like Impedance, Internal Resistance, SOC, SOH etc based on algorithms provided by the customer.
- A total of 4 batteries can be connected to each Wi-Fi DAQ.
- The Wi-Fi DAQ units connect to the Central Gateway via Modbus on either RS485 or TCP (Ethernet or Wi-Fi)
2) Central Gateway:
- Collects and stores the data received from the Wi-Fi DAQ units.
- Manages communication with the PC software.
- Sends data to the cloud storage over the internet.
3) Current Sensing Module:
- Can measure the current of individual batteries or a string of batteries.
4) BMS Software:
- PC software to view all the real-time parameters, historic trends and other customizable analysis as per customers requirements.
